ADRA MADAGASCAR

The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) is a non-governmental, non-sectarian, humanitarian organization established by the Seventh-day Adventist Church for community development, and disaster relief and rehabilitation. ADRA Madagascar belongs to the worldwide ADRA network, with more than 130 supporting and implementing country offices. ADRA Madagascar became an officially recognized NGO by the Government of Madagascar in 1992. Since then, we have implemented a diverse portfolio of food security, health, education, and relief projects, primarily in the central, eastern and southern regions of Madagascar. ADRA Madagascar currently maintains offices in Antananarivo, Fianarantsoa in the southern-central plateau, and Betroka, Bekily and Ampanihy in the south of the island.

ASOTRY aims to reduce food insecurity and vulnerability among its targeted communities. It works to improve mother and child health, increase livehoods, and build community resilience

    ASARA promotes agriculture and livestock production, rural infrastructure, and improves access to markets and agricultural inputs.

      ZINA includes three main components: health, nutrition and WASH, agriculture, resilience and disaster risk management.

        The project distributes drought resistant crops such as sorghum seeds and cassava vines. It also includes WASH activities and agricultural training.

            Since 2016

            The objective of this project is to provide free dental services to those who are unable to obtain dental treatment.

              2017-2018

              SFI is a school feeding program for 103 schools in Ampanihy, in the extreme south of Madagascar. The objective of the project is to reduce the rate of absenteeism by improving the nutritional status of students.

                TXF is a project funded by TzuXing Foundation, which aims to improve learning environments by building school facilities.
